Fall 2025
Fall is here! October and cooling temperatures mark the close to our second season of sessioning. We stopped scheduling sessions sooner than we would have liked due to horses being moved in preparation for winter, but we are still grateful for a wonderful season of sessioning.
This year we brought new volunteers onto our staff, who have been a wonderful asset to our ministry. We also have interviews scheduled yet this fall to expand our volunteer staff.
We had a number of very encouraging events this year. We were awarded grants to expand the infrastructure of the ranch that will greatly increase the options that we have for activities for sessioners. We also had the distinct blessing to be the highlighted missionary at Bemidji’s First Baptist Church VBS, where all of the offering was given to the ranch at the end of the week.
We were surprised to have a number of challenges to face this year that we didn’t see last year. The economy has been tough on ministries across the board, and our ranch was not exempt from financial struggle. We also dealt with horse injuries, leader illnesses and injuries, as well as the routine weather related cancellations and delays.
We had a number of sessioners from last year return for further sessions this spring, as well as took on a number of new sessioners. We already have a waiting list for Spring 2026 and it looks like we will have a full schedule of sessioners, so praise God that those connections have been made!
Prayer Requests: That God would continue to use and sustain this ministry as He sees fit, and that He would supply us with the needed volunteers and supplies to see us through another year.
Thank you for your continued prayer and support!
